Want to work in the garden – but the WiFi doesn’t reach? Or do your WhatsApp calls drop out every time you walk upstairs?
WiFi blackspots are a modern day nuisance – especially if you’re spending more time working from home. Or everyone in the family is trying to use the network at the same time.
The TP-Link Deco M5 Kit provides a simple solution. It contains three Deco units, each of which acts like a router to give you blanket WiFi coverage around the home. You can walk from room to room – even into your garden – and your devices stay connected to the WiFi.
More than 100 devices can be on the network at the same time. Better still, any device using the WiFi is protected from viruses and malware by anti-virus software. There are also parental controls, managed through the Deco app. So you can limit your kids’ access to certain websites and how long they spend online.

Say goodbye to WiFi woes with the TP-Link Deco M5 Kit
One single WiFi network
If you’ve got WiFi weak spots around your home, you’re not alone. Most traditional routers struggle to provide wall-to-wall WiFi coverage. That’s where the Deco M5 kit can help. Each Deco unit is a powerful router. And they work together as one network to provide blanket WiFi coverage throughout your home. From the attic bedroom down to the understairs toilet – even into the garden. And because they work as one network, there’s no jumping from one WiFi network to another. In fact you won’t even notice the switch between Deco units as you move from room to room.
Strong and secure WiFi
The Deco M5 kit comes with built-in anti-virus software. So any device connecting to the network is protected from viruses, malware, ransomware – including those that don’t normally come with protection, like smart cameras. Every wireless connection on the network is encrypted. And only approved packets are allowed past the firewall. So you don’t just get blanket WiFi coverage with the Deco M5; you get peace of mind too. For those wanting to keep on an eye on their kids’ web use, there are in-built parental controls. Filter content by user. Or set limits for how long the kids can spend online.
Easy set-up and management
You don’t have to be an internet wizard to set up the Deco M5 kit – it’s as simple as downloading an app and plugging in the units. The Deco products work with one another too, so if you want to extend coverage past 5,500ft2, just add more Deco units to your network. There’s no scrabbling around in the router cupboard to switch the WiFi on and off – it’s all managed through the Deco app. Or you can ask Alexa, as the Deco system is compatible with Amazon Echo and Google Home devices too. And should one of your Deco units lose power, you might not even notice. As the system cleverly reroutes the network so your gaming can continue uninterrupted.

“Alexa, switch on the router’s lights”
The Deco M5 system works with Amazon Echo devices, so you can ask Alexa to manage your WiFi for you. Use voice commands to switch on/off the guest WiFi, carry out a speed test, or prioritise different activities on the network, like gaming or streaming. Enable other ‘skills’ to get even more from your Echo device. Listen to your favourite tunes. Order a takeaway. Or ask Alexa to read out the news headlines.
