It only takes a few minutes to install the Door View Cam
1. Unscrew and remove your existing peephole with the tool that’s included in your pack.
2. Place the camera on the outside and connect it with the rear section on the inside.
3. Insert the rechargeable battery and the cover on the rear. Download the Ring app – or log in if you have an account already – and follow the in-app instructions to set up mobile alerts.

With two way talk, you can hear or talk to visitors at your front door from your phone or tablet. Or enable the Ring skill for Alexa to receive notifications on your Echo devices and use your voice to control the Door View Cam.

You can use the Ring Door View Cam whether you own or rent, as long as you have a compatible peephole. It’s weather resistant, so it’ll keep you protected whatever the weather. And there’s a quick release battery, so you don’t have to move the device when you need to charge the battery. The Ring Door View Cam comes with a free trial of Ring Protect Basic, so you can save, review and share your video recordings for the first 30 days. Once the trial’s up, you can choose one of the Ring Protect Plans if you want to keep access to your video history.
