Want reassurance that your home is protected – whether you’re home or away? The Ring Floodlight Cam is a state-of-the-art motion-activated security camera that comes with built-in floodlights and a siren alarm.
As soon as it detects someone on your property that it doesn’t recognise, it sends an instant alert to your phone. So you can log in and see what’s happening in real time. There’s even two-way audio so you can hear and talk through the camera. And if that doesn’t deter an intruder, you can activate the 110-decibel siren direct from your phone to scare them away.
The Ring Floodlight Cam works with other Ring security cams to provide a complete ring of protection around your home. It also works with selected Alexa devices like the Amazon Show 5. Just ask Alexa and you can see who's at your front door... Using your voice.

Get peace of mind and complete home protection with the Floodlight Cam
Watch over your home from anywhere
This pro-active security camera protects your home day or night, in rain, sun, wind or snow. Whenever the camera detects motion, it triggers two ultra-bright LED floodlights and an instant alert to your phone. If that isn’t enough of a deterrent, there’s two-way audio and an 110-decibel siren alarm you can activate remotely from your phone. The camera captures footage in crystal-clear HD video, even at night. And comes on an adjustable mount with 140° field-of-view. So it can detect motion around corners and monitor any blind spots, to give you complete peace of mind.
Security at your fingertips
You don’t have to wait for an alert on your phone to check up on your property. Use the Ring app to log in and view what’s happening at home, any time of day. This clever camera comes with object and facial recognition too. So it can tell whether it’s an intruder breaking in or just your kids playing outside. Use the app to customise the areas you want to protect, so you only receive alerts when it matters. Or create a schedule for your floodlights, so they come on/off when you need them most.
Simple to set-up and manage
The Floodlight Cam can be wall or ceiling mounted, and the camera adjusted to focus on the most important areas around your home. There’s a choice of white or black finish, so you can match the security camera to your home. If you already have wired floodlights, you can replace these with the Floodlight Cam in less than 10 minutes. Your camera also comes with a 30-day trial of Ring Protect: a subscription service which activates video recording and stores footage for up to 30 days. So you have a log of past events and can share these with others.
This guide is based on replacing existing floodlights. If you're installing floodlights for the first time, we recommend contacting an electrician.
Switch off power to your existing floodlight and remove it.
Install the mounting bracket for the Floodlight Cam and wire in your new camera before mounting it on the wall or ceiling.
Turn the power back on and complete set-up by following the instructions in the Ring app.
