There are lots of useful features; here’s how to get the most out of them
Peace of mind from anywhere
You don’t have to be at home to answer the front door with the Ring video doorbell. Using the Ring app, you can get alerts to be notified whenever anyone rings the bell – or if one of the motion sensors is is triggered. The camera has a 160º field of vision to capture a wide view of your doorstep. And there are the infrared night-vision sensors that enable you to monitor what’s going on outside whether it’s midday or midnight.
Security that gives you convenience
The Ring doorbell has a two-way microphone, so you can talk directly to delivery drivers or visitors through your phone, tablet or computer. There are also adjustable motion sensors to hone in on key areas outside. Through the app you can view live footage of anything that’s happening on your doorstep. And because the Ring doorbell has an HD video camera, the images and audio it captures are crystal clear.
Easy to manage and install
Using the app, you can manage your security from inside your home… or in fact, anywhere in the world! The Ring doorbell is also quick and easy to install. You can use an existing doorbell connection or go wireless with its rechargeable battery. And because it’s a quick- release battery, you don’t have to worry about compromising on your security while the doorbell is charging.
Here’s how to get started with a wireless installation
Charge the battery using the cable provided. When the green light is the only one left on, the battery is fully charged. Slide the battery back into the compartment and wait for the doorbell to power up;
Download the Ring app and follow the in-app instructions to connect to your WiFi network and finish set up;
Fix the Ring doorbell to outside your front door. 120cm is the recommended distance from the ground. And you’ll find all the fittings you need to anchor it securely to the wall in your pack. There’s also a corner and wedge mount to use, if necessary, to improve the camera’s view
